Get to know me.

A huge part of working with a florist or planner is trust. You need to trust that they understand your vision, the things that matter, that they will translate your vision to your guests and that they have the knowledge and experience to deliver. With that in mind, I hope this page will give you an idea of who I am!

I have worked in weddings and events since I was 15. I started off waitressing for an event catering company. Aged 16 I organised our Year 11 Leavers Prom, from then I knew this was what I wanted to do for a job.

I graduated from Leeds Beckett University with a BA (Hons) in Events Management. After a graduate internship in the United States, I started my career as an Operations Assistant for an events agency and progressed to Director of International Events for an international Event Tech company.

The events industry is in my blood! I live and breathe it. I have worked on such a wide variety of events and in so many capacities. I have led teams through unreal situations and challenges and take pride in the fact that we have always delivered.

B.Honey Floral

I love creating memories for people. Nothing brings me more joy than to see a client beam with delight. I love listening to my client's visions and dreams and piecing the pieces of the puzzle together and then bringing teams/suppliers together to deliver every minute detail.

I trained as a florist with the utterly inspiring Georgia Miles at The Sussex Flower School. I can honestly say that training with Georgia was good for my soul. Very early into my training, I had an epiphany that my path was to bring all my skills together to create a business on my own terms that would fill me with joy every day.

My experience over the years has been that couples know they want an absolutely fabulous Instagram-worthy day but have no idea where to start! So B.Honey Floral was established. We can be a one-stop-shop or offer each of our services separately.

Outside of Work

I live in East Sussex with my fabulous son. I am the youngest of 4 sisters, have two beautiful nieces, and both a godson and a goddaughter.

We have two dogs, Bodhi and CoCo. When I am not being a football mum at my son's games, I love taking the dogs for walks on the South Downs.

I love Kundalini yoga, meditation, and cooking. Nothing makes me happier than going out for food with friends and family, it really does fill my heart with joy!

Things I love......

Texture - in floral displays, table linens, wedding stationery. Texture makes all the difference.
Having no rules - if it brings you joy - do it, add it, buy it!
Working with suppliers who care as much as me! The wedding and events industry is full of wonderful souls who love bringing others joy.
Roses - a classic I know but who knew there were so many varieties, colours, scents, and shapes!
Christian Louboutin heels - they make the world a better place. Fact.

Not for me.......

Glitter....it gets everywhere, it's unnecessary and serves no purpose
Chair Covers - there are so many beautiful chairs out there, totally worth looking at alternatives.
Balloons - controversial I know, but honestly there are so many other stylish ways to make an impact.
Lillies - now there are many varieties of lilies and some are beautiful, especially the Calla Lily, I am just not a fan of the traditional Oriental Lily
Unkindness - be kind. Always.
